Two autograph notebooks containing entries describing the annotations in the manuscripts and printed books collected by bookseller N.M. Broadbent. Part I dated 1927 and entitled "Catalogue of collection of annotated books of 18th, 16th, 17th centuries collected by N.M. Broadbent, and referred to in his letters dated 2nd May, 1927." Part II dated 1928 and entitled "Catalogue of the second and concluding portion of the collection of annotated books in English, Greek, Italian, and Latin, formed between 1912 and 1926 by N.M. Broadbent and containing written evidence of ownership and study by English scholars of the days of Queen Elizabeth and James the first."
